| 22 August 2011 Dear Friend, RE: INVITATION TO CHARITY CONCERT OF THE ST. JOHN’S CATHEDRAL HIV EDUCATION CENTRE, 11 OCTOBER 2011 (TUESDAY), 7:30PM I am writing to solicit your kind support to the captioned fund-raising concert of our Centre. We are greatly privileged to have the support from The Hong Kong Welsh Male Voice Choir and the South Island School Chamber Orchestra to perform the charitable concert on Tuesday, 11 October 2011 at the St. John’s Cathedral. We shall commission the “MOMENTIUM”, a new piece of music composed by Mr. John Barker ( the composer of the popular “Roquiem”) especially for the Centre and a series of music such as “Caracena” and “Band of Brothers”. The charity concert aims to raise fund for sustaining the services of the HIV Education Centre.The HIV Education Centre of the St. John’s Cathedral, established in 1995, is a charitable organization, with the goals of raising AIDS awareness amongst the general public, and of helping create an AIDS free society for our generation. The HIV Education Centre has educated and empowered thousands of service users including school youths, women and members of the ethnic minorities. Service includes delivering a series of health seminars, workshops and talks on HIV/AIDS and reproductive health, organizing an annual AIDS Festival and awareness programmes as well as conducting research studies related to our target population. The Centre does not receive any stable financial support from any sources. You are cordially invited to support us in order to make this important concert a success and a blessing to the wok of the Centre. There are several ways in which you can render your blessing, such as being a Patron or buying a house programme or making a donation.
